As a teacher for literature and philosophy at a junior college from time to time my students perform also some theatre plays in front of the whole school.

Unnecessary to point out that stage fright is always a big issue.

Few years ago – EFT and energy psychology were still very new to me – my class preformed a play written by famous swiss author Max Frisch. The students were especially nervous due to the fact that we didn’t have too much time to study our show and that some parts of the play would rely on the art of improvisation…..

Just ten minutes before the start I decided to give EFT a try. I assembled all the actors in one room and told them: “Listen just do what I do even its funny, laugh, giggle if you need to but just follow me. I will explain everything later”.

We did screaming and yelling together me in the center my students around me:

“Even I am so nervous because everybody is watching me I decide to act totally cool….”

“Even I am sooooo nervous I allow myself to act cool and be at the peak of my performance”

The students followed willingly…

The the play started…and it went better than I ever could have imagined.

Feedback from my fellow teachers were very interesting:

“Listen Stefan, great play and very impressive how natural your students acted..”

Well of course they didn’t know about EFT and I decided to keep them in the dark for now.....

My advise to other teachers who are trained in EFT: Just do it !

Allow your students to find it strange, to giggle, to have fun and you will see that there will be almost no resistance….
