Knowing the Most Common Tapping Mistakes, Helps us Move ahead With More Ease and Get Better Results! by Karen Nauman - Visit Karen's EFT Tapping Site at: www.TapIntoEFT.com

EFT Tapping Mistake #1 - Overcomplicating EFT : It’s super important just to get in there and get going with the tapping. To forge on even when we think we may not be doing it right! Tap on a very regular basis and realize that it takes time to become skilled at something and EFT is no exception!

It is very possible to get great results by working only with the basic EFT tapping points as laid out in the EFT shortcut. BUT... wait and see what amazing things can happen when we've got more tapping experience!

EFT Mistake #2 - Not Specific Enough: Being too general or ‘global’ or when we're doing EFT tapping.

It is hard to get results when we are tapping for weight loss, stress relief or attracting abundance, if we don't identify and tap on the blocks and other contributing factors i.e. limiting beliefs, counter productive habits, unprocessed negative emotions, unhelpful family rules, specific events, stressful memories etc.

Gary Craig, EFT founder says; "If you want to be terrific with EFT Tapping, you must be specific!"

EFT Mistake #3 - Expecting a Quick Fix or 'One-Minute-Miracle': There are stories out there about others who've tried EFT for 5 minutes and got immediate results. BUT, we can get frustrated, discouraged and even give up on EFT if we focus on that and feel bad because it didn't happen for us!

Its important to realize that even with the best self help tools, change (espcially with complex issues like weight loss, depression, chronic anxiety and abundance) can take some time and effort. Nothing works right off the bat 100% of the time and this goes for EFT tapping as well!

Here’s a great way to look at personal wellness/healing work; 5 steps forward… 2 steps back. At least we moved 3 forward. That's what we can focus on and it will draw us forward! When we look at what we lost instead of what we gained it can really bog us down and keep us stuck!

When a problem won’t go away immediately or it comes back after a few days, it usually means that there are other aspects (contributing factors), emotional drivers or core beliefs that need to be discovered and tapped on first.
